In the future I want to build my own business or company, especially trading company. I think that’s a good prospect in the future because lot of countries export and import many things to and from another countries. I want to build my trading company in mainland China. Why in China? Most of the things (I think around 65%) in this world is from China and made in China. I went to China 7 months ago, South China exactly, I saw many foreigners came to there to buy something and sell it again in their country. Why they came to China? I think because China’s products are very cheap, so they will get big profit when they sell it in their country. So there will be big potential to build trading company there in the future.
My objectives are learn Chinese language (traditional and simplified), finish my IMBA program as fast as I can, make good relationship with foreigners, and go to China to survey the condition there. At first after I graduated from IMBA program, I want to continue study Chinese again, 6 months in Taiwan and 6 months in South China. After that I try to get work at trading company in Taiwan or China. I will work there for several years to get the information of the system (how, why, where, who, what, when) and of course to collect money. If the modal was enough I start to build small trading company.
I studied industrial engineering for my bachelor’s degree. I chose IMBA program for my master’s degree because I want to know how to do business. Why in Taiwan? Because I want to learn more about the cultures in here and practice to speak Chinese. I want to learn traditional Chinese first, because I think it will be easier to you to learn the simplified after you learnt the traditional one.
My strengths are I’m a fast learner, I can speak little bit of Chinese right now, always do my best. My weaknesses are I easily get nervous, not punctual, afraid to take the risk. The opportunities to build trading company in China are many countries export and import something frequently and wide variety products from China with cheap price. The threats to build trading company are many competitors with good knowledge & experiences and unstable international trade’s policy.
I try to increase my strengths that’s way I want to continue learn Chinese after I graduated. For my weaknesses I’m still trying to get far away for those right now, because it’s hard for me.
